On 8 April, Shen Jun, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and President of the People’s Court of Xishan District, Wuxi City, visited the campus. She was employed as Vice Principal of Legal Education and awarded the letter of appointment by Principal Meng Xiaodong. She delivered a legal publicity lecture themed “Law Safeguards Youth, Be a Knowledgeable and Law-Abiding Juvenile”, popularizing legal knowledge and building a strong safety line for teenagers.
The lecture focused on the Civil Code, the Criminal Law, the Law on the Protection of Minors and other laws closely related to minors. Combining real campus cases, it highlighted common legal risks such as assumption of risk, fraud, robbery and the crime of assisting information network criminal activities, reminding students to abide by rules, stay away from traps and refuse illegal acts.
Using real data and typical cases, the activity sounded the alarm, guiding teenagers to recognize the harm of breaking the law, enhance legal awareness and improve self-protection capabilities.
