Galloping into Spring, Fun beginning

As spring returns to the land, everything is renewed. Carrying the festival joy of the Lunar Year of the Horse, our school welcomed Spring Semester Registration Day on March 5. The campus was filled with warmth and vitality, where youthful energy blended with the happiness of the New Year, presenting a scene full of life and promise.

Teachers and students, spirited and full of enthusiasm—like galloping horses welcoming spring—returned to the familiar campus and gathered with excitement in the gymnasium. Everywhere one looked, there were aspirations to take the lead and expectations of limitless possibilities. This is the fertile ground where we pursue our dreams, and the starting point from which we set out on a new journey.

The venue buzzed with warmth and laughter. Each carefully designed activity carried the Year of the Horse’s best wishes, infused with youthful energy and vibrant spirit.

Students gripped the beanbags tightly, focused and determined as they aimed and threw. Each powerful toss was not only a test of strength, but also a hopeful wish for a successful start to the new semester. Every accurate hit was met with cheers and a strong sense of achievement.

Everyone put on adorable headpieces and spun in place amid laughter and cheers, trying their best to steady themselves and keep their balance. At times they staggered and swayed, at times they moved forward with surprising stability—their movements both amusing and earnest, perfectly capturing the free-spirited fun and imagination of soaring like a heavenly horse.

Students eagerly raised their hands and answered with confidence and composure. Their eyes shone with certainty, as each correct response reflected accumulated knowledge, and every stamp earned marked a moment of growth. Through these engaging quiz activities, they unlocked new learning and shared in the joy of discovery.

Holding palm fans in hand, participants carefully yet energetically guided the balloons forward, moving lightly and with focused attention. As they raced side by side, there was both the spirited determination to take the lead and the warmth of teamwork and mutual support.

Students lined up in an orderly manner, carefully creating golden ‘galloping horse’ prints with their own hands. With each movement of their fingertips, they imprinted not only the blessings of the New Year, but also their hopes and aspirations for the new semester.

Each student focused intently, gently rolling the ball along the lane and watching as it traveled steadily forward to knock into the paper cups. Cheers and words of encouragement echoed through the venue from time to time.

Equally popular was the ‘Spur the Horse Forward’ activity. Students queued up in an orderly line, gripping the grabbing tools in their hands, their eyes filled with anticipation and focus. Each successful pick-up tested their patience and hand–eye coordination, while also carrying the positive meaning of riding forward with determination and striving to be ahead.

Every activity held unexpected moments of delight and pure joy, and every smiling face reflected the vitality and enthusiasm of youth—quietly signaling a new atmosphere and fresh hopes for the school year ahead.

A fine horse knows the road ahead is long and needs no whip to press it forward. We look forward to seeing every student surge ahead like a galloping steed, advancing with courage and youthful spirit, riding the waves of our time and racing toward a future that is uniquely their own and brilliantly bright.
