On the afternoon of December 16, the launch event for the “Harmony” Orchestra, the symphony orchestra of Wuxi United International School, was held in the school’s grand theater.The orchestra’s instructors met with students and parents one by one and performed excerpts of beautiful musical pieces live. 
In his speech, Honorary President and Co-Principal Meng Xiaodong said, “Music is indispensable in life. I have envisioned the appearance of our school numerous times, believing that a good school should resonate with the sounds of reading, singing, and joyful melodies, where children can immerse themselves, be influenced, and grow. This was the original intention behind the establishment of our HeYue Orchestra – to have music accompany children at every step of their growth, as those filled with music are filled with love and hope for life. The name ‘HeYue’ originates from the implied meaning of ‘Xiehe’ and also because it is intrinsically related to music. We also hope that our future orchestra members can collaborate with each other, unite with one heart, and perform classic pieces together. 
Notes dance like dawn breaking, illuminating the sky of dreams; melodies intertwine like bubbling streams, converging into a vast, magnificent sea. This is not merely the establishment of an orchestra, but a symphony of youth and passion, a resonance of art and dreams. Here, every note carries boundless longings for the future, and every movement is a heartfelt tribute to wonderful times.Let our performances add a splash of vibrant colors to the world.
