On September 20th Thursday afternoon, a wonderful volleyball match was on between Wuxi United International School and Wuxi Boston International School.
To get prepared for this match, our volleyball players spent at least an hour of their valuable free time every day to practice. During the training, they ignored the bruises left on their arms. Not to mention the humidity of the season or their t-shirts which were all wet because of sweat.
In this competition, they proved to us their training results of hard work. As we always say that friendship comes before scores. Both our teams and Boston’s teams played very hard to avoid the score falling behind. Just within ten minutes, all players’ faces were covered with sweat.
As time went on and the scoreboard continued to refresh, the match came to an end. At last our girls’ volleyball team won the competition with a score of 3:2! Unfortunately, the boys volleyball team lost the game to Boston.
We believe that all players have enjoyed the proud moment as well as the achievement of team work. Many thanks to Mr Mensah, Ms Huang and Ms Wilson for their coaching. Let’s keep on going, WUIS Volleyball Teams!
