Upholding the core principle of “labor-based education and all-round development”, the event offered various daily-life-related, fun and practical tasks to boost students’ hands-on skills, focus and creativity. Participants chose events via mystery box draws. This exciting format fired up their enthusiasm, as they competed calmly and showed great adaptability and labor competence.
To ensure fair competition and involve more teachers and students in labor-education evaluation, a public judging panel was established. Consisting of the principal, teachers and student representatives, the panel maintained a rigorous and impartial attitude, closely observing each contestant’s operation, details and final works before scoring and evaluating objectively.
On the competition ground, contestants moved their deft hands methodically, completing various labor tasks skillfully with neat moves and standard procedures, fully showcasing Xiehe students’ fine labor spirit.
