【Primary】Virtue Assembly Shining Stars

Reflection is the ladder of growth. For everyone, being reflective helps face shortcomings, improve oneself, build a calm mind, and adjust one’s path. It encourages us to be thoughtful and progressive young people of the new era. On April 21, all teachers and students of the Primary School gathered in the Grand Theatre to explore the virtue theme of April: Being Reflective.

The students of P4C take philosophy as their core, scenes as their wings, and bilingualism as their bridge. They show the spirit of reflection through Zengzi’s self-examination and Socrates’ questioning. By comparing Edison’s experiments in the AI age, they think deeply about the boundary between technology and thinking. Their lovely performance tells us that reflection is always valuable in the AI era.

Safety Education Presentation

Safety is the foundation of our happy life. At the Virtue Assembly, Officer Qiu from Anzhen Police Station gave a safety lecture to the students, focusing on common sense against fraud and prevention of school bullying. With real cases, he reminded everyone to stay alert and learn to protect themselves, letting the awareness of safety take root in every student’s heart.

Backbone of Great Nation

Zhang Xue, founder of Zhang Xue Motorcycles, came from an ordinary family. Despite repeated setbacks in R&D and racing, he never gave up. By reflecting and improving his techniques through failures, he finally developed outstanding high-performance Chinese motorcycles.

Student Council

The heads of the student council gave feedback on the important aspects from this month. They praised the students for their good behavior, and gave expectations and suggestions on how to improve for next month.

The house winner this month was Yellow House, the representative of Yellow House came to receive their award on stage. Congratulations to Yellow House!

On March 30th, All primary school teachers and students went on our annual spring trip. During the trip WUISers showed good manners, love for the environment, and helped each other. The overall behavior of the students reflected what WUIS stands for.

The Nuan-Nuan night time story

Reading can be like stargazing, illuminating the direction of children’s learning journey.When you listen to a story, you can go on a wonderful journey. In the Warm Night Reading activity, the readers with the best messages received special prizes. These awards not only recognise their passion for reading and creative talents, but also aim to inspire more students to actively participate in reading, creating and thinking.

English Reading Activity

The campus English reading activity has achieved great success. It built a lively reading atmosphere and became a unique campus highlight.Students read with enthusiasm, showing their love for English learning. Selected via Myon’s backend data, 25 “Reading Stars” stood out with excellent skills and progress. “Reading Champion Classes” also shone, showing strong teamwork and passion.This activity helped students grow through reading, strengthened class unity, and boosted English learning.

The Star Host

This semester, our school will continue the “Star Hosts” activity. All hosts prepared carefully, arranged materials and plans, and led team members to take part in activities. Thank you for your hard work and responsibility, making our school life more wonderful.

WUIS Care Day

The first WUIS Caring Day was a great success. Organizers arranged the event well, and students actively joined the Jiaoshan cleanup, picking up litter to protect nature. At this assembly, the organizer of the second session gave a speech and opened school-wide recruitment, letting kindness and responsibility spread across our campus.

Discipline in WUIS

People who have self-discipline have more determination and perseverance, and are more likely to accomplish big dreams. Let self-discipline become a habit for each and every one of us, we will enjoy the harvest and happiness brought by self-discipline, and will eventually become a better version of ourselves. The theme of this month was Discipline. WUISers work hard on self-disciplined and self-improvement, and work tirelessly to become a better version of themselves. This month, 25 students and the class of P5C were selected for the “Discipline in WUIS” prize.
