Years from now, the kids may not remember their final exam scores from this year, but they will surely never forget this electrifying Tournament shared with classmates, teachers, and parents!
“Friendship first, competition second”? at WUIS primary school, this slogan has its own unique twist — “Competition first, friendship twenty-second!” This isn’t to say that friendships aren’t valued, but rather that all 21 classes participated wholeheartedly in this football extravaganza! Each class came prepared and eager to compete, and that unyielding sporting spirit was instantly ignited. With 21 classes taking the field one after another in a series of passionate clashes, friendship naturally had to take a back seat — all the way to “twenty-second.” This burning enthusiasm is a vivid reflection of WUIS students challenging themselves and striving for excellence!
The charm of WUIS Football Tournament lies in its motto: “Everyone participates, no one is excluded!” Regardless of how skilled they are in football, every young WUISers courageously stepped onto the pitch that belongs to them. Look! Under the sun, children sweat freely, their young faces beaming with the purest and brightest smiles. Sprinting hard, passing in sync, defending with focus, and unleashing thrilling shots — it’s not just about winning or losing. The real treasure lies in the endless joy of movement and the power of teamwork. This is the truest embodiment of the philosophy: “Sports for all, football for all!”

The pounding drums from parents kept the rhythm strong, the non-stop cheers from classmates were the most sincere encouragement, and the passionate shouts from teachers offered the firmest support. The booming noise across the field turned into an endless stream of motivation that poured into the hearts of every young player.
