The “Star Teachers” Growth Club

On the afternoon of September 9th, the lecture theater of the school Wuxi United International School sparkled brightly as the “Star Teachers” Growth Club, brimming with educational aspirations, officially set up.

The “Star Teachers” Growth Club serves as a new platform tailored by Wuxi United International School for the growth and development of young teachers. The club has specially invited numerous renowned and accomplished teachers with outstanding achievements in the field of education to serve as mentors, offering professional guidance to young teachers.

Co-principals Meng Xiaodong, Lin Xu, and Dr. Max Caruso pressed the button to light up the star, marking the first crucial step for the “Star Teacher” Growth Club

Nine experienced education experts were officially appointed as “guiding stars”. Drawing on their rich teaching experience and educational wisdom, they will help new teachers set sail in their careers. This is not only a responsibility but also a legacy.

The mentor-apprentice pairing between senior and young teachers enables the “masters” to impart their years of educational experience, fostering rapid growth and transformation in the new teachers. Under the careful guidance of their “masters,” the new teachers hone their skills and accumulate experience through teaching practice.

Principal Meng Xiaodong delivered a speech full of expectations to the new teachers, expressing his hope that every one of them could achieve “unity of knowledge and practice,” “integration of knowing and doing,” and “consistency between appearance and reality,” being both extroverted and introverted, and ultimately become genuinely shining stars.

The event ceremony was hosted by Deputy Principal Zhang Xinyuan, and Chen Ping, Director of the Curriculum and Teacher Development Center, interpreted the “Training Program for the ‘Star Teachers’ Growth Club at Wuxi United International School.”
