We are committed to creating a learning resource center with good reading atmosphere and providing perfect and thoughtful service for teachers and students.
The Hall of the library is bright, and the painted glass wall demonstrates the educational integration of the East and West cultures in our school. Sunshine comes through the glass, warm and comfortable. There are different functional spaces in the library，for lectures, exhibitions and reading salons, which are easy to adjust flexibly. The multi-cultural space meets the needs of teachers and students.
Learning to make use of library resources has become an important part of lifelong education, introducing library resources, helping students understand their own needs and quickly spot the books they need. The intelligent library system provides a vast scope of opportunities for students to study independently.
Excellent Works The quality of books on the market varies. When we choose books for children, we are cautious. When recommending books, we focus on the winning works of children’s Literature Awards at home and abroad. Such as National Excellent Children’s Literature Award, Mao Dun Literature Award, Newbury Children’s Literature Award. Caldecott Medal, etc. Meanwhile，we pay attention to the well-known authors at home and abroad and bestsellers.
Philosophy for Children Section
The “Philosophy For Children“ course is one of the characteristic programmes in our school. The P4C books help teachers and students to be philosophical who are good thinker, listener and doer.
Leveled Reader is a complete reading programme of English extracurricular reading for children. It covers the language advancement from kindergarten to middle school. In the meanwhile, it relates to a wide range of subjects (history, geography, science, literature, art, sports, mental health, civic education), it has a wide field of vision and knowledge, diverse genres with rich pictures and texts. It’s really a very good experience in English infiltration learning.
