At the end of a very positive and busy week back we met again as a school community for our assembly.
In our assembly our new Head Students welcomed all of our new students to our school community. We are very happy to see them here with us.
Ms Rebecca Cao and Lucinda Holmes introduced our new Head Students, our Prefects and our school student council.
Ms Basu talked about IB Evaluation year. We have been an IB World School for five years now, so we are up for our evaluation. This is a very exciting time for us, as we move into being an experienced IB World School.
The Vice-Principal, Lucinda Holmes, shared with the school community the new improved attitude grade descriptors so all the students know what they need to do to be even better students and get a maximum five for attitude grade in their next assessment.
Mr Pokhrel, shared with the students the uniform expectations, the new rules regarding no devices (smartphones and Ipads) in school apart from laptops, at the teachers discretion.
We also had a presentation on our new TOEFL and PET lessons during our ECA programme.
We also emphasised the importance of Respect and is part in our brand new school code of conduct.
A fantastic start to the new school year for everyone.
