To further cultivating law culture and developing students’ law spirit. All Grade 8 students went to Xishan district People’s Court in Wuxi, to sit in on a real court trial. We expanded our lessons to a real life trial.
As a practical part of students’ Morality & Law course. This offers students a great opportunity to study the procedure of court trail, and understand different roles played by Judges and prosecuting officer. This time, the Xishan People’s Court opened to our students a criminal case of extortion. Students are very fortunate to watch how a criminal case is conducted in a real court. In the course trial, the judge presided over the case, and the public prosecutor stated the case, displayed evidences and inquired the defendant.
Also, as a vital section of school Anti-bullying program, students were able to perceive the authority and deterrence of the law, this helps further strengthens the consciousness of abiding by the law..
