A few weeks ago, Wuxi United International School Grade 3 Class P3A student Caroline achieved the award of Little Storyteller in the 16th Session of the Whole Nation Teenager storyteller.
The activity is hosted by Shanghai Century Press and Shanghai Fenfxian District Government. It took more than four months to complete the competition. There were thousands of participants via 30 teams from 14 total provinces. In the final were approximately 250 participants. On July 23rd, Caroline won the Special Prize of Wuxi Area, and she was selected to go to the Final National Competition.
From August 6th to August 12th, with the accompany of her family, Caroline traveled to Shanghai for the Final National Competition. Caroline had an amazing performance in front of many experienced teams and participants. She was finally presented the Little Storyteller award by the editorial department -King of Storyteller. In addition, she was chosen to be the leading dancer for the competition. Some famous artists like Ju Ping and Liu Lanfang highly praised their performance.
Caroline is an outgoing and positive student. She is willing to express herself both in and out of the classroom. She showcases her talents in many school activities. She loves reading. She very much enjoys using her imagination to create fairy tales. Our teachers encouraged her to retell some stories first and then perform. After several practices, she was more familiar with the story / thought more about the details. We believe that in the near future, there will be more excellent storytellers and little performers in the WUIS Primary School.
