The inaugural SUIS Cross-Campus Art Fair 2018 was held last week as a means to promote The Arts within the SUIS family of schools. The over-arching theme of the work chosen for exhibition was “inspired by the work of an artist or artists from another time and another place”.
Students were required to produce an artist statement to support their artwork and needed to discuss their artistic process and the artist of influence. The submitted work was judged by members of the local arts community and according to assessment rubrics.
The following students had work selected for the exhibition at SUIS: Jaioke campus on Wednesday 30th May and most then went on to be exhibited at Huafu Art Space, M50 Art District, Shanghai over the week-end of June 1st-3rd.
