In Chinese history, we have a lot of fascinating cultures that we are so proud of. Poetry is the most beautiful one, which can be read, sung or expressed by dancing and musical instruments. Let’s enjoy the beauty of Chinese poetry through our students’ wonderful presentation.
At the beginning, Ricky Qin and Allen Zhang from Pre-IB presented a dialogue between Shi Su and Zhimo Xu that transcend time and space, giving us an idea of the development of Chinese poetry.
Music and literature have no boundary, neither does poetry. Two Grade 9 Korean students, Chris and Yuna, who have only one year experience in Chinese learning, performed Ms. Huiyin Lin’s representative work-You are April Day.

Poem can be a perfect match with other classic Chinese elements, like dancing. Grade 10 students gave us a dancing performance, Taoyuan Love Song.
The beauty of poetry does not only exist in its image, emotion and rhythm, but more importantly, it can free people’s mind and beautify ordinary life. Cindy Chen from Pre-IB read us the poem by Zhimo Xu, the joy of snow.
