5th September the Secondary School led the whole school Flag Raising Assembly on the themes of Caring and Acts of Kindness.
The Flag Raising was hosted by two grade 8 students Henry Huang and Lynn Lin, who did a great job speaking in English to the whole of the primary and Secondary school. They spoke confidently and eloquently.
Mrs. Holmes, our Head of Secondary, gave a speech about What “Caring” is and Mrs. Rowe, our Head of Pastoral, gave a speech about acts of Kindness, referring to events in the world at the moment, including the flooding in her home state Texas.
Two grade 8 students, James Zhang and Amy Sun , read a carefully selected story “The Man Next to the Window”
