Virtue Assembly Shining Stars

Exploration knows no bounds, and the quest for knowledge is endless. For generations, pioneers have uncovered the truths of the world with courage and wisdom. Today, the baton of inquiry has been passed to us. On May 28th, all teachers and students of the Primary Department assembled at the Grand Theatre to discuss and learn under the May virtue theme — The Inquirer. May we forever keep our curiosity alive and improve ourselves through constant exploration.

From a sci-fi perspective, P1B students’ performance illustrates the risks of over-reliance on technology and easy comfort, conveying that life shines through exploration and growth comes from perseverance.

A true inquirer may not have all the answers, yet they stay curious, keep seeking answers, and embrace diverse perspectives to explore new possibilities. Backbone of Great Nation

Han Hong is a renowned Tibetan singer whose powerful voice has touched countless people. Beyond the stage, she always holds kindness in her heart and devotes herself to public welfare to help others. She spreads beauty through music and demonstrates responsibility with actions, setting a fine example for us all.

WUIS Care Day

Two sessions of the WUIS Charity Day have been successfully held. The organizers planned and arranged everything in an orderly manner. Filled with a passion for public welfare, students took an active part in environmental activities such as rubbish collection, protecting nature with practical actions. At this assembly, the proposer of the third session delivered a presentation and launched a school-wide recruitment. Let love and a sense of responsibility take root and spread across our campus.

Student Council

The heads of the student council gave feedback on the important aspects from this month. They praised the students for their good behavior, and gave expectations and suggestions on how to improve for next month.

The Nuan-Nuan night time story

Reading can be like shining stars, illuminating the direction of children’s learning journey. When you listen to picture books, you can go on a wonderful journey. The school gave prizes to excellent readers and encouraged more students to create more time for reading, to read more and to think more.

English Reading Activity

The campus English reading activity this semester has achieved great success. It built a lively reading atmosphere and became a unique campus highlight.Students read with enthusiasm, showing their love for English learning. Selected via Myon’s backend data, 25 “Reading Stars” stood out with excellent skills and progress. “Reading Champion Classes” also shone, showing strong teamwork and passion.This activity helped students grow through reading, strengthened class unity, and boosted English learning.

Our primary school will continue the “Star Hosts” activity. All hosts prepared carefully, arranged materials and plans, and led team members to take part in activities. Thank you for your hard work and responsibility, making our school life more wonderful.

Diligence in WUIS

Hard work is rewarded, and industries can excel with hard work. Through diligence, we can improve our ability and realise our personal value. The theme of this month was Diligence, WUISers should be hardworking display diligence and perseverance in order to be a better version of themself. This month, 25 students and the class of P1B were selected for the “Diligence in WUIS” prize.

Sports competitions

In the 2026 Traditional Sports Event Competition for Primary and Secondary Schools in Xishan District, our school’s athletes competed valiantly. Both the girls’ and boys’ basketball teams worked together as one, strove for excellence, and achieved outstanding results. This fully demonstrates our students’ sportsmanship of solidarity, collaboration, and never giving up.

In the 15th Primary School Baseball & Softball Tournament of Xishan District 2026, our athletes competed bravely and cooperated seamlessly, showing their best and achieving excellent results.

Math Kangaroo

In the 2025 Australian Maths Kangaroo Competition, the participating students were not afraid of the challenge, they actively applied and worked hard to prepare for the competition. Congratulations to all the winning students.
