Thinking is the ladder of progress for human civilisation and the embodiment of human wisdom. A true thinker not only needs to have a broad knowledge base, but more importantly, the ability to think independently. On November 27th, all teachers and students from Primary gathered at the Grand Theatre to discuss the theme of the November – Thinkers.

The students from Grade 5 led us into the world of “thinkers” through their vivid situational performances and heartfelt recitations, allowing us to deeply comprehend the value and power of thinking.

Backbone of Great Nation
Zhen-Ning Yang, a world-renowned theoretical physicist, probes the core laws of the universe with profound insight, his thinking unshackled by conventions. In fields such as particle physics and statistical mechanics, he uses logic as a blade to dissect the essence of phenomena. His proposed Yang-Mills theory has reshaped humanity’s understanding of the fundamental interactions in nature. Rooted in mathematical deduction, this thinking persists in exploring the ultimate questions of science. From his brilliant youth to his dedicated endeavors in old age, he has spent a lifetime embodying the essence of a “thinker” — guiding the journey through uncharted territories with reason as a lamp, and illuminating the light of truth for human civilization.

Super Gold Afternoon Tea
Through their own efforts, the students have earned 40 green cards and redeemed them for an opportunity to attend the Super Gold Afternoon Tea. This is not only an acknowledgment of their hard work, but also provides a platform for students to express their thoughts and suggestions, enhancing understanding and communication between teachers and students. Such activities not only enrich campus life, but also encourage more students to actively participate in academic pursuits and various activities.
Student Council
The heads of the student council gave feedback on the important aspects from this month. They praised the students for their good behaviour, and gave expectations and suggestions on how to improve for next month.
The house winner this month was Green House, the representative ofGreen House came to receive their award on stage. Congratulations Green House!
Tidiness
A clean and tidy campus not only provides us with a comfortable and pleasant learning environment, but also reflects our spiritual outlook. It enhances our learning efficiency, makes us feel happier, and develops our sense of responsibility and collective honour. In such an environment, it is easier for us to concentrate on our studies and stimulate creative thinking. The virtue this month is “Tidiness”. WUISers worked together to create a clean and comfortable campus. This month, 25 students of “Tidiness in WUIS” and a class of “Tidiness in WUIS” were selected.
