With lively entrance music, each class marched energetically onto the field, displaying their youthful spirit and vitality. Principal Meng then delivered an inspiring speech, encouraging all athletes to embody the Olympic spirit of “understanding, friendship, unity, and fair play,” to give their best, showcase their talents, and surpass themselves on the field.
Next, the fourth graders presented a dynamic cheerleading performance. Their synchronized moves and upbeat music perfectly blended, igniting excitement and applause from the entire audience.
Afterward, all teachers and students joined a cheerful warm-up session. Their laughter and energy painted a vivid, lively picture across the field. With the referee’s whistle, the 13th Autumn Sports Day officially began!

In the afternoon, the thrilling tug-of-war competition brought the sports day to its climax. As the whistle blew, contestants gripped the rope tightly, leaned back with firm footing, and pulled with all their might. The red marker in the middle of the rope swung back and forth, keeping the audience on edge.
On the sidelines, cheers and chants from the audience fueled the competitors with energy. Teachers waved their arms in rhythm, coordinating the team’s effort. Each pull was a contest of strength and determination. When the whistle finally sounded, announcing the result, the field erupted with applause and cheers.
The excitement of the tug-of-war had yet to fade when the final event, the 4×100-meter relay, ignited the last wave of enthusiasm across the stadium. The athletes from each team stood ready, their eyes gleaming with focus and determination the moment they gripped the batons. As the starting gun fired, the first runners shot off like arrows, their strides steady and powerful. During the baton exchanges, seamless coordination sent the batons tracing fluid arcs through the air. The final leg saw an all-out sprint, with the entire audience rising to their feet, cheering and shouting in support.
The moment they crossed the finish line, regardless of victory or defeat, the team members embraced tightly, their sweat and smiles interwoven. This was not merely a contest of speed and strength, but the ultimate testament to trust and unity.

At the award ceremony, the winning students and classes stepped proudly onto the podium.
